Sun City Summerlin

Sun City Summerlin is among the most popular age-restricted communities in the United States. Completed in 1999, Del Webb's first foray into Southern Nevada active-retirement developments remains a rousing success.

The 2,400-acre community is home to more than 14,000 residents. All residences must have one owner/occupant at least 55 years old, and there are no permanent residents under age 19.

There are approximately 7,800 homes in Sun City Summerlin. All homes were built between 1989 and 1999. The residential decor is Southwestern stucco and tile, and nearly all homes are single story. Sizes range from under 1,100 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet.
