Painted Desert is a master-planned community that surrounds the Painted Desert Golf Club. When the course opened in the late 1980s, it sat alone in northwest Las Vegas. Today, Painted Desert sits amid the burgeoning Centennial Hills, a growing development located along U.S. 95, near I-215.
