Changing carier? What it takes to become real estate agent?
1. Sign up for real estate school. I recommend Key Realty School. The training takes from several weeks and you can go to classrooms or do distance study. 2. Pass State test. 3. Apply for real estate license. The whole process takes about several weeks, but after that you will be able join some real estate company and start working as agent.

Company Referrals
MillionSaverHomes.com spends a substantial amount of money on marketing. We generate hundreds of buyer and seller requests from our website's, magazines, door hangers, postcards and other sources. Agents interested in receiving leads can get access to the pool of leads and choose which ones they want to work with. We have leads for high-end homes, high-rise condos, luxury properties, buyers, sellers, HUD, VA, investors, foreclosures, etc. We let agents to choose which ones they want, and they can become very busy in a short period of time. We believe in fair business practices. The leads are available to all agents, and each agent decides what leads to accept. There is only a 25% referral fee for the leads provided. You pay only if you close the business!

Training in the classroom or in real life?
How do you think you will
learn faster? Sitting a couple of weeks in the classroom and reading books
or having someone working with you one-on-one, answering all your questions
at the time you need to answer them, showing you how to complete transactions
and do paperwork? If you prefer working in a big company with trainers
and schedules, where you spend most of your time in the classroom then
we are not the right choice for you. We don't teach theory but real life
situations. Therefore we set up a Mentoring program with experienced agents
teaching one-on-one, showing the secrets of the real estate business. Who
do you think can give you more? A teacher who didn't sell real estate maybe
in the past 15 years or someone who is making money selling real estate
every day? You can choose a mentor based on your personality and preferences.

are free to set up their own commissions on listings. We don’t think that
all listings should be a full commission or a discount commission. Every
approach has advantages and disadvantages. We want to offer a full range
of services to homeowners and let them decide which offer they want to
use. Our mission is to have happy relationships with sellers. We want to
offer what they want. Therefore, we don’t necessary push a certain approach;
we offer different options and services to let customers choose what they
want.
We have no office requirements like taking 6% listing required by many big franchises in Las Vegas. |

What is your choice? Don’t make the same mistake I did …
I got my real estate license
in December 2001. I was working hard in real estate for a big Century
21 office (one of the biggest in the nation), doing what they told me to
do: cold calling, knocking on doors, distributing flyers and advertising
in magazines. I wasted so much time on never ending trainings... the result?
After 6 months in business I was several thousand dollars in minus. I didn't
make any money. I was just paying bills. I worked for a big franchise and
I thought they know what they are doing. I believed the advice they give
to agents is for the agents benefit. The shocking truth was that most of
the new agents didn't make any money at all. Only a few people who sold
homes to their family or friends did some transactions. I couldn't believe
that their system was not working for me, but for many other people. Now
I know this is the reason why 85% of agents leave the business within the
first 2 years. Not because they couldn't be very successful, just because
they chose the wrong company and the wrong people to be associated with.
They chose flashy beautiful office, big brand name like Century 21 hoping
that they will one day become successful. I believed if I stayed and kept
working even harder, I might succeed. Every weekend I sat at open houses,
about 40 in 6 months. I continue advertise in magazines and everywhere
my trainer and broker told me. I had no good results and I was frustrated.
I worked 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, and still no results. I had no
income and my savings were getting thinner and thinner every day.

One day I got a really bad
wake up call. I was driving to the office in the early morning, I always
used my driving time to learn the scripts that the trainer gave to us.
I didn't pay attention to the road and got in an accident. I crashed
into someone in front of me. The airbags blew up. Nobody go injured, but
it was enough shock for me to do a radical change in my life. I felt like
this is not the way I want to end up. Working so hard, be frustrated and
not even make any money.
I went to the basics. I thought very hard about what is really important. And about the way I worked and the way I advertised. I started measuring everything. I stopped listening to the broker and trainer in my office and started to work the way I believed. It soon caught the attention of management and they didn't like someone thinking that their system is not really working and needs improvement. I was fired from that big franchise company with words that I am not team player. I joined Liberty Realty, which is a 100% office. What that means is they don't really control what agents are doing,they just charge flat fees from transactions. Six months after that I build my own team of agents and just from my marketing we closed transactions in amount of $300,000 in gross closed commissions (year 2003). That was a huge difference from not being successful a year ago to getting so much business in such a short period of time. You have to remember I had no friends or family in Las Vegas. We closed business from the marketing I did and I paid myself. Agents who worked with me paid me only if they closed business. No money upfront. No sharing of expenses. I took the risk and it worked very well.
In 2004 I set up my own brokerage - MillionSaverHomes.com. We purchased an office building on 5348 Vegas Drive, where our current office is located. I can show you the fastest way to manage or own a real estate brokerage. I am looking for partners, brokers and agents to open new offices in Las Vegas and nationwide.
